PRISM Teen Group
Prism Group is back and in person at our Alexandria office!
This is an open and ongoing group that functions as a drop-in hour for peer-to-peer LGBTQ+ support. This affirming and brave space provides group members with the experience of identity exploration and healing through an inclusive and accepting community.

Cost: $50 per hour.
**After registration is completed, a 15-minute intake meeting will be scheduled with Tati.**
This group will be facilitated by Tati Hernandez.

Bilingual: English/Spanish
Tati is a queer Latina of Afro-Colombian descent and a licensed professional counselor (VA) and Clinical Director at The Wise Family. She’s also a board-approved Supervisor for LPC residents. Tati enjoys collaboratively working with teens and young adults. She believes that her role is to provide them with support on their healing journey as they discover what already exists within them, make decisions that feel right for them, and create meaningful change that they want for themselves.
Tati is an LGBTQ+ affirming EMDR trained Clinician and Certified Women’s Circle Facilitator. She also writes letters of referral for gender-affirming medical care, provides coaching for parents of LGBTQ+ youth, and facilitates consultation for providers on issues relevant to working with LGBTQ+ youth. When she’s not working, Tati enjoys reading, photography, going to coffee shops, traveling, and spending time relaxing with her wife and two dogs at home.
